Recently, a good friend brought to my attention something alarming. One of our own, a young atheist activist by the name of David Viviano (better known as GammaAtheist on Twitter, host of the Atheist Hangouts, and assistant to the Dogma Debate crew), has recently lost his job due to an unforeseen circumstance. He’s a hard-working advocate and father; an inspiration to those in the atheist community.
No one is immune to financial burden. We’ve all suffered from it in one way or another. And I will admit, I’ve been in situations where I was in need of help. If it wasn’t for those who supported me, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m grateful for those in my life and in my corner.
I’m sure you’ve experienced this, also. The helping hands of others got you on your feet, put you back on track, and pushed you forward. Well, now is the time to make a considerable difference in the life of an incredibly talented person.
