Petiton Seeks To Abolish Blasphemy Laws

Recently, I signed a petition, submitted by the Human Rights For Atheists & Agnostics organization, which will be addressed to the UN High Commissioner. The petition goes as follows:

HRFAA seeks to appeal to the United Nations, to amend Articles 13 (b), 55 (c) & 76 (c) of the Charter of the United Nations and the Statute of the International Court of Justice, in order to pressure member states to repeal blasphemy laws and protect the rights of non-believers. HRFAA is also dedicated to protecting the human rights of all non-believers in any and all member states that contain a religious majority, by appealing to the United Nations to sanction member states who breach Article 18 of ‘The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.’

Please take the time to consider the petition; it’s certainly worth our time and effort. Follow the links below for more information.
